I went out to Dudley Farm this weekend and this is in the backyard where they did their laundry. It was a 3 image HDR and I used a Fractalius filter on it.
Unfortunately I clipped the leg on the closest table so I'll have to go back out there and retake it with a little more room.

Cheryl, I really like this. The strong diagonal really makes an impact -- especially because it's separating the greens from the grays. Both colors have a nice range of tones, and the browns throughout the image tie all the colors together. Excellent application of Fractalius, too. It'd be nice if the rest of that leg were there, but I'm glad you didn't make us wait for that.
I agree with Dennis' comments and I love the square shaped tubs and the matching color of the tin roof. Excellent capture other than the missing leg, and processing!
Lovely effect..kinda makes me glad I was born in the 50's. I do the washing around the house these days..TFS

Cheryl, I love the way you processed this. It has me thinking about a few of mine that could work with Fractalius :S3:. I think the composition is full of nterest and I agree w/ you regarding the leg. Seems like a return visit would be a lot of fun too!
