Hi Folks;
Photographed this Trichocereus Flying saucer in our garden this morning replaced the background,and oil painted the bloom only using CS6>Oil Paint using default settings. That only took 2 minutes, replacing background took 30.

I like the effect on the flower. Great job on the bg... it makes the flowers stand out.
It almost looks like a face, the eye on the right is winking...nice use of filters Gus...TFS

Thanks for looking and your kind words. Still finding out that an old dog (88) can learn new tricks. :bg3: The original BG was a small part of the bird bath (easy to select), 90 % of it was decorative gravel (painstaking to select and remove). Next time, before I take a picture there, I will move the birdbbath and put down a drop, sheet I have, cut a slit into the center and cover the gravel. Was amazed, using Gina's Olympus Pen (Mirrorless) camera with 14 mm less (equiv 28 mm) lens. I held camera 12" from the 3 blossoms & got them all in with space to spare.
Teaching this old Dog new tricks.

You are right. Gina & I were looking at a TC Flying Saucer notecard, and sure enough it has the WWW. Wide eye, Wide mouth and WINK :-) More so on the OP :w3
