Killer Prizes for OOTB Folks!

First off, please see "The Contest Heats Up;" item 1 here. Be sure to check out the Judge's Favorites images. Then see the basic info on the BIRDS AS ART 1st International Bird Photography Competition here. Now here's the great news. Though a certain photographer who authored the Ontario Landscape Guide has entered some very nice images in the Digital Category--I think...., there is a big drop off in quality after that. Furthermore, the Pleasing Blurs category is wide open. As is the Small in the Frame/Environmental category. There are more than $22,000 worth of really god photography stuff waiting for your best images to claim them. I know for sure that I have seen dozens of images here over the past two years that would do quite well. Do note however that the judging is blind (not the judges!) and that there is a five-judge panel. I hope to see some of your best stuff soon as the contest deadline is March 31, 2012. Good luck!

If you weren't getting a cut for being the contest originator you could! Hey, you could have Jaxson enter your images in the Youth category!

ps: the folks here can win a lot more than "one."

Rule 13 virtually killed 95% of my images....would have loved to submit. Now I've started taking more raw images..maybe next time.

You'll be a better photographer using RAW capture. Less contrast, better files, more room for error. And their are some great prizes in the Digital Category....
