This is beautiful, Jim. The whole scene is such a seamless blend of art and real life. I like the composition and the tonal range. I'd like to see it in color too.
Take your time, Jim. You could post it in this thread or start a new one.
This the color version of the OP that Chris ask to see.

It's as beautiful in color as it is in B&W. :S3: Thanks for posting it.
Jim, Nice job with this one, I like the B&W for this but the color is lovely too. My only thought is that I wish the one (angel?) at the top was included in the composition. That may not have been possible with a single image but maybe a stiched vertical if you get a chance to go back. Very nice and thank you for sharing this.
I, too, prefer the B&W, which is unusual for me. I like the crispness and clarity. You might consider cropping out the feet and cloud of the top angel. Nicely done.
Jim, I like both versions. What I like most about it is the crispness of the overall image with sharp lines. Nicely done!
Nice job with this subject, Jim. Thanks for sharing both versions. I agree with Indranil that the crispness is very appealing. :S3:
Thanks for the comments Anita, Indranil, and Steve!
Really nice, Jim. The color version is beautiful, but I really prefer the B&W because it emphasizes all the subtle details. I too wish you could evict the feet on the cloud :S3:
Here's a version without the feet. I hope I don't get punished for messin' with a +60 year old painting.:eek3:

Looks great, Jim :S3:
Very nice work Jim, good advice given above...I prefer the B & W..thanks for sharing
Nice work Jim, I too prefer the B&W for this comp. Nice work!
Nice B&W tonality. I think I would vote for it over the color version.
