This is the office building that sets directly across from mine. I photographed it this past autumn from my building's parking lot and it made for a nice b&w conversion (used Nik Silver Efex).

Jules,
Greetings. The conversion on the foliage is particularly nice & I like the contrast with the sharp lines of be building. A well composed image. TFS.
Cheers,

A pleasing image, nice effects and composition....if I stand in my parking lot at work, I can see pipes, boilers and chillers...:Whoa!:
Well done J
Nice way to spend your office time Jules ... looking out the window and snapping images! :w3
But nice image and application.
I might have cropped out the buildings on the left, but Y.I.Y.V! :bg3:
Beautiful composition, Julie! I love this top of the treeline view. Very nice contrast and clean lines. Nicely done!
Note to self: Follow Jule's process-- Catching this in the fall and then converting to bw is a good idea. The color diffentiations of fall colors give more variations in the BW version than summer green foliage would. good catch, Jules!
Well balanced B&W, Jules. Love the contrast between the strong graphic buildings the the organic tree elements. Nice to see them living harmoniously together. Curious what time of day produced the almost shadow free buildings.
Very nice conversion Julie, I like the building how it looks like it is perched on a hillside. Must also be a nice view as the seasons change.
Looks like a beautiful view, Jules! I like the tonal range especially in the trees. I wish the image was a little bigger so we could see more of the detail. I might add a little more room to the right if it was mine.
Nice B&W conversion, Jules, pleasant tonal variation of fall foliage contrasts nicely with building. Wish you posted it a little bigger, but nicely composed & processed.
