Tonight was particularly boring, I just couldn't find anything to do. Weather was crappy so going out wasn't an option.
I decided to go to the Adobe Website and look around. I found the Action's download page and went through them page by page....now you might wonder how someone who said tonight was boring could possibly find this exciting but I went through 5100 actions - 20 at a time.
Small things ... etc. I downloaded about 20 actions I found interesting.
The image below shows the pencil drawing action and the burnt edges action I found....used in combination with fotosketcher to create this vintage image. I left it centered on purpose...Hope you like it
:Whoa!:...god I can't wait for migration and better weather...its coming next week is in the teens (50's)

Paul, This is very nice. I like the way the bird is stattling the perches and the comp. The filtering is great too. I might like the bird a little less centered if it were mine. Nice job!

This turned out very nice, Paul. Love the vintage, and textured look to this, and nice touch with burnt edges. Looks like a combination of drawing and etching. Way to seek out something new and interesting.

Paul, one suggestion...bring up the light tones in his eye a bit more so that eye catches ours. I think it would take this over the top! Very nice processing...love the antique look!

What an excellent way to while away the hours and with great results. Some to try when I've got time. I like the delicate way you've kept the bird perched in the stalks … nice feel to the whole image.

Excellent vintage look, Paul! I love the burnt edges. My personal opinion would be to have the bird less centered, but that's just my opinion. Very nicely done!

Very nice work Paul...ditto on the centering. I like the burnt edges of this comp also. Never did make it out to Bronte.
