Really nice photo Stan. Like the colors, the perch, and the turn from the bird. How they land on that stuff is beyond me.

This is very nice. I really like the BG and the cactus perch (wish it was a bit smaller without the OOF part on the left of bird)). The pose is really nice with the lookback. Good feather detail.

Lovely pose, detail on bird and smooth bg. I agree with Gail that the large amount of oof cactus is a bit distracting. I once got caught up in a Cholla bush trying to photograph a Phainopepla - not funny!

Hi Stan, good DOF on the sparrow, and I like the look back pose. Im with Steve on wondering how they manage not to get spiked by the cacti.
Excellent pose, perch and bg. I can see why you would keep a distance from that perch!
