A rather mediocre paint image inverted and flipped. The little guys in the lower part of the image were subjected to polar coordinates. They remind me of the scorpions that hang out on my outside hose :S3:
I also used a gradient layer and a little pb/oil.

Interesting & wild composition, Maureen. They look kind of like skeletons of some kind of creature. Soft gradation of color works really well as BG. Do you have some images of those scorpions?

Maureen, This is wonderful! I agree it does look like scorpions. The colors are pleasing and the gradient background is a nice touch.

Very nice image and application, Maureen.
We had our first baby scorpion (dead) in the pool last year. Didn't look around for it's mother! But those do resemble it! Nice they are in your yard!!!:w3

Super interesting to contemplate. I thought of a witch's brew, with some sort of spell rising out of it!

Very interesting creation, Maureen! I like the composition, especially the two smaller "scorpions." The soft colors are nice. Well done.

Hi Maureen, love the flip and the colors too! It looks like it could be an album cover for the rock band The Scorpions :S3:
