Foolin' around in Photoshop I came up with this. Reminds me of a block print.
Not sure this matters much for this version but here's the technical bits anyway

Leroy,
Great effect. I have tried to do this with straight photoshop CS2, but failed. How did you get it. I have used the sketch function in Fractalius, but never got anything close to this. Well done.

I'm using CS2 as well and the filter to get this effect is called "poster edges" in the "artistic" group of filters. I first converted the image to monochrome then applied a quadtone to get a warm gray (for some reason I really like that look). Convert back to RGB space and then used the poster edges filter.

Hey pretty cool. This reminds me of being done on copper or tin. Copper would be a bit more red I guess. Could be well worth playing with colours on this one. Gorgeous subjects and excellent effects. :)
All the best as always up and beyond.
Danny.

Doh !!! I'm an idot. Deep embarrassment and I'm so sorry Leroy. :) I edited my text up there. The names show in different places on here with the comments. My fault and sorry again mate.
I love that copper effect and so very well done at that. The texture in this is really looking like copper. Very well done and its looking darn good from here.
