using a mac monitor connected to a 1D mkII

Just picked up a used 1D Mk2 and want to use a Mac stand alone monitor as the output viewer in a live mode. Can anyone help me with the settings & connections?

1D MKII does not have live view feature.

Thanks. I must have mis-understood. I was told that the camera could be connected to a computer and its output viewed live on the computer monitor - that maybe some external support software was needed, but that it could be done. Or at least that was the question I asked and the reply was yes - caveat emptor. Good thing I have not gone further than the test. Fortunately that was a nice to have, what I real need is the improved image quality for a table top application.

It has a video out, but it's not digital (it's standard RCA analog) so you can view it on an analog TV. You cannot hook it up to a computer unless you have an analog video capture card which are obsolete these days. In any case, the output resolution is low (analog NTSC) so it is useless.
