Great choice of effect and subject, Gus. Love it!
Gus, I love the pen and ink look. If you want to make it perfect - there is a white smudge on the black framing line just above the perch.
Hi Folks;
Thanks for looking. Cheryl, Eagle Eye, thanks for heads up, fixed original, but won't post.
Have a great day.

Beautiful work Gus. I love all the detail and contrast

Gus, Very nice work Gus, The white background really makes your sketch pop! How did you create the Topaz Clean look in CS5?
Hi Folks;
Thanks for your kind words.
Denise, What is the Topaz clean look?
Gus
Topaz Clean looks just like the effect you created with CS5.
Thanks Denise;
I'll try clean (Use Adjust often,but not clean, detail, in focus or remask [I'm hopeless with remask]) in one of my steps if I can remember them, as I used B&W adjustments, PB, high black clip 4 in S/H with amount to 4 (0 turns off clip) a couple of times even a quick threshold dragging to right, too much seat of my pants. Most of my different experiments I write down..

Thanks Gus!
Very nice, Gus. Agree that clean bg makes the sketch stand out. Excellent processing.
Hi;
Now, I think I got it????? The background, if that is where the "Clean" comes from? How I did my BG, First press "D" so I know I have a pure white 255,255,255 BG in Color Picker. Then I get dimensions of Image, Then I click File>New then chose dimensions I got from image, same resolution 72, choose Background>OK>Save. I open Image & BG to same viewing size. Open BG, press V (Move). Then move image over BG. I then cut the image out, give it a default curves "Linear Contrast" to even it out then a low Smart Sharpen about 15 to crisp it out > Sig>Ctrl+E and then File>Save for Web & Device which is setup-JPEG, Quality to keep size under 251K, Check in convert to RGB, Metadata-All (So you can get Iexif) Quality-Bicubic>Save.
If Topaz Clean will do that? Please tell me, How
Gus
