I think this is a lovely, thought out image. I would hang this in an instant. Only thing I might have done differently was make the Zebra a bit larger in the frame but thats just my thought...very well done.
Well crafted, I really like the zebra on white!
Mario, Welcome to OOTB. Excellent image and processing. The grass below is sweet. I might take a tiny sliver off the top if it were mine. Very nice job with the original capture.
I guess cropping the top off slightly could benefit the end result....... Thanks Denise
Nice image and application, Mario.
I like zebras and this one is very nicely done. Maybe a crop, but I really like what you did here as is.
Welcome to the gang. It's a fun forum, if you choose to stick around and get to know those here.
Love it! Nicely done. I kind of like all the white space in this one. But I think it could look nice cropped further, as well. Give it a try and see what you think!
Very distinctive, Mario. Really nice job of processing and presentation.
Love this as presented with all the negative space. I would sharpen the zebra a bit more. BTW, welcome here and thanks a stack for your membership support!
Hi Mario, welcome to OOTB. A very nicely processed Zebra image. I really like the white background with only the grass around the Zebra revealed.
Thanks for the comment Matt. I did try a tighter crop and although it looks good , I still like the empty space. It gives a bigger sense of isolation which I was aiming for
Thanks Arthur ! I agree that it might look a bit soft here probably due to the touch of grain added that adds to the overall result when seen at full size on a canvas print where it will end going.
Mario, welcome to OOTB.:S3: I love the image and the concept you portrayed. I like it just the way it is.
Thank you all !!! for such a warm welcome ....... I feel at home already. Fantastic feedback from everyone
Hi Mario and welcome! I vote for not cropping. I like it as is! Nice work!
Cropped or uncropped are both ok. I actually have a cropped version but decided to go with more empty space to create a sense of isolation.
I'm way late to the party, but I can't resist on commenting on 2 of my favorite topics. I love zebras and the minimalist approach. This is very nicely done. I like how the grasses are less dense than the zebra in both color and substance. This creates a wonderful subtle contrast. I like the crop as presented with the very effective use of white space.
