Very nice effects, you captured this launch just right..good work
Nice painterly look to this Mitch! I happen to like the palllete of colors too.
I like the dark outlines on the bird. Nice touch. Also, wonderful colors. I would take a sliver off the top and bottom--top to even out the color and bottom to get rid of the white. I especially like the wings.
Mitch, I really like the combination of filters. Especially like the effect on the water and the plants. I would crop from the bottom as Anita suggested to remove the white and blue area (crop to the greener water). Nicely done:S3:
Very cool backlit wings, Mitch. I like the processing and does anyone else see a little pink in the bottom half... this theme is catchy. :w3 Great timing for the tip-toes. :S3:
Mitch, I haven't used that filter in a long time-thanks for re inspiring me to work with it again. I love the color tones and the composition. Ditto a teeny sliver off the bottom it was the first thing I thought when I saw it. I do see the hint of pink at the bottom that Steve picked up on. I just love the effect esp. on the wings!
Perfect capture of the heron with outstretched wings Mitch! I like the color palette and the filter effects, especially on the wings.
Nice image and application, Mitch.
Nice capture and BL effect.
Thanks Paul, Roman, Anita, Cheryl, Steve, Denise, Judy, and Mark.
You are all right. The foreground pink blobs have got to go. They are actually an artifact created by the Raw converter I use. And I did tone down the color, but not enough. Better to just crop them out entirely.
Thanks again.

Very nice effects and I agree with the ladies above on the suggested crop from the bottom. Here is my take on it--it tightens the image up considerably. Light areas on the frame edges can be lethal....
