Went down to SW Florida over the holidays and did some shorebird photography.
Nice to be able to lay on the beach in December and photograph these guys.
Thanks for looking and C & C is always welcome.
Really sweet image. Nice and low and I like the grasses. Exposure on the whites is excellent. If you are not against cloning I would eliminate the blackish blob on the right in the BG water and the specular highlight in front of the belly.

Nice shooting angle, excellent detail and exposure, and I like the habitat. A bit tight for my taste but great image.

Excellent exposure and detail ... great job getting low and I like the bit of habitat!
Hard to tell for sure but might try a bit of CW rotation and see what you think.
Would like to see some more room on the right.

Excellent low angle shot with nice HA, Josh. As Gail indicated, the dark spot and the circular highlights could go.

It's a gem, a beautiful exposure. I try to keep cloning to a minimum but I would go along with cloning the two specular highlights

Hi Josh, looks like you couldnt have got any lower - great angle. Good detail on the plover, well exposed, and I would maybe take a bit off the bottom.

Sweet shot. love the low angle and grases. Don't mind the specula rhighlites ever but they don't seem very popular.

Josh:
Sweet little fellow, great shooting angle, perfect exposure, sharp, like the grasses.
I agree with Stuart, I think a bit off the bottom, since the reflection is weak. I would probably crop to about the level of our sig.
Very nice, hope to see more from your trip.
Where all did you go? I will be heading down in a few weeks, so always like to know what areas are hopping.
