I'm not sure if this meets this week's theme. Can we take a photo of something pink? Or, are we to add pink to an otherwise non-pink image?
This is on of my smallest Cyclamen. I liked the waves of the petals.
Taken indoors with natural light, 105mm macro lens. Clean, rotate, crop, levels, color balance, high pass, extures: "Dappled Dawn 1" by Pixel Dust "Dappled Dawn 1" & "Sweettart" by Kimklassen, vignette, duplicate and blend, lighten center, Viveza, contrast.
C&C always welcome!

Love the energy of this image, Anita. The BG contrasts/works very nicely with the flower. Great theme subject! :S3:

Very nicely done, Anita. Love the elegance & simplicity, nice shape and flow and bold color to flower. Great choice for BG, kind of has a warm, sanded wood look/texture which compliments well. :S3:

Nicely done, Anita...I love the background, might be tempted to darken the corners just a smidge more...and maybe leave a tiny bit more room at the top...but those are nitpicks, and more a matter of personal taste. Love the curves of the petals...the subtle textures and lines...the soft colors...well done.

With the beautiful flower -- both in shape and color and the wonderful background, this is a very appealing image. I like how similar the colors of the stem and vignette are. John's point about adding more room at the top is a good one, I think. Not because the top of the flower is too close but because it would put the bottom of the flower at a divine proportion line. It is, though, a very nice image just the way it is.

Thank you all for comments and suggestions! I will add a bit of space at the top (I tend to crop too severely) and darken corners a bit more. :-)
