I posted this one last week but it got lost in the crash.
I am definitely out of my comfort zone with these high key shots but appreciate your thoughts.
Canon 1D MK IV
f 4.0 500mm
ISO 1250
SS 1/1250
F 6.3
Cropped by ~ 30% and cloned out an OOF bud that sat between the wing tips.
LR3 and CS5 for S & H and cloning. I think it would present better with a black border but I don't know how to do that...yet

Hi Gail,
I like the bird position and the berries. Not sure about the high key . I feel the bird could use a boost in the darks to make it pop more and I 'm not too sure about the "Berry Hat" :)

Hi Gail, I remember your previous post of this guy, and again, just love the pinks, - they pop nicely against the high key BG. Again, I feel the OOF branch on top doesnt add, and removing it completely wont affect the overall image. I feel a touch of selective sharpening on the head will work too.

I like this much better than the first. It doesn't look steep and is sharp throughout.
nice pose and details, good colors too. This guys needs some sweet warm light to stand out but you did well given the condition

Gail I like the shot, hope you don't mind but I too have made a mod for your consideration: I reduced the brightness on the bird a little bit and I added a border the same colour as the bird - sometimes it looks good to colour code the border, but I am not too sure in this particular case. I can explain how to colour code if you are interested.
