Hi Prabir,
I like the color palette in this image. The BG is beautiful and very complimentary. The head cock is nice as well. The acacia(?) with thorns is a nice perch as well. I wish the light was behind you and less to the side because it really puts the entire left (bird"s)side in shadow. I would work on the Shadows and Highlights,
Gail
I like very much the side lighting. Perch is nice too! I would like either to have more space on the left or move a bit the catch light so it seems to be looking a bit more towards us.
Very nice shot! congrats!
Gail, Yves - thanks a lot for the comments & suggestions. In fact we are planning a few more visits to get better catch of this bird.
We actually went very close to the bird and waited about an hour for it to change its perch angle. But it didn't change. A bit of changed perch would have worked very well for us.
Love the head tilt and cool perch. I think the image needs more room on the left and and perhaps a little less contrast.
Hi Prabir, good looking fellow, with an inquisitive pose. The light angle hasnt helped, and Im sure you would have moved to your left if it were possible. :w3
Cheryl, Stuart - thanks a ton for your suggestions.
In fact we have plans to go after her again one of these weekends. And hope to get better views of her.
Gail, Yves, Cheryl, Stuart - I have one more shot of this beauty here. I got better light in this case, though she refused to change her perch and we couldn't access the side.
I don't know if its right to add it. If its against the rules, it can be deleted.
Thanks a lot.
