Camera Nikon D90; 1/250 sec; Shutter Speed Priority; f/9; ISO 200; 420mm; no flash.
Process in CS5, level adjustments; use of layers with textures, several brushes in order to increase texture, use of mask in parts of the body of the bird to erase texture and Nik Software Color Efex Pro to finish it.
I'll appreciate your comments and suggestions.

This is a beautiful image in many respects. The circular flow in the main portion of the image is wonderful, and you used the textures very effectively. I especially like the parts of the background that look embossed. The field on the left complements the rest of the image and takes it up another notch. Very nicely shot, processed, and composed.

Ditto to the above. Obviously a lot of work, but so worth it. The horizontal sticks at the bottom are just a tiny bit distracting to me, but since they are blurred with texture, they are not a big thing. The beauty of the rest of the work more than compensates for that So good to see your work back on BPN

Mirenchu, I'm so glad to see your work again on BPN.:S3: I think the image and the choice of textures are beautiful and it does look like a silk painting. I think the green splotch on the left side of the egret's back is a little distracting but it is still a lovely creation.

This is simply beautiful. Unique design in the framing, and the birds pose and wing position make this so special. Great use of textures. I agree, a very silk-like feel to it. Outstanding!
