I'm intrigued by this image. In most images, the subject stands out clearly from the background, but not here. It's just the yellow and brown, combined with the relatively small difference in the whites of the horse and the background that define the shape of the horse. The dark features of its face emphasize that it's looking right at us. I also like the very faint features of the ground. You've done an amazing job with this.
I'm sure glad you didn't pass on by, Nancy. This is amazing! The symmetry of the dark features is fascinating. Well done. :S3:
Thank you so very much, Dennis & Steve.
Beautiful composition, Nancy. I like it a lot... well seen and processed!
Nancy, I like the minimalist feel here. I wish it would snow here or the ponds would freeze-we are stuck in limbo.:S3: The composition and high key look are lovely.
Nancy, I agree with the comments above..........very well presented to get that white on white look. Horse is well framed. Excellent image.
Great image, Nancy. Really nice processing. Sure does look cold!
Thank you all! Another foot of snow has fallen and it will go below zero tonight!
Hi Nancy, I love the white-on-white look to this. Beautiful work! We had a dusting of snow up here last night and a smidge more today. At least we will have a white Christmas. I live in a snow-belt region of Ontario and we usually have about 2 feet by now, so we are off to a late start.
