Photographed on my last water drop workshop with fellow BPN'er and great friend Susan Candelario. 2 strobes bounced off red card stock and the setting adjusted to get a "floater" and the 2nd drop just starting to collide forming the "sombrero".

Super cool and perfect title! The red is so rich looking.
Drop photos are fascinating. I like your method of getting the red, and I especially like the shadows and variation in red tones in the image. If this is actually a composite of two images, I can understand the sombrero. Otherwise, it's an intriguing mystery.
I do believe that's the best one of these drop images I've seen in a very long time. Love the deep red, Roman and the crispness of the water drop is perfect!
Cool Drop, Roman! Love the "hat". :S3: Great set up and result.
Great drop shot, Roman. Love the red. :S3:
Roman, Great shot. The separation of the top is super. Deep rich colors makes this a winner..............:S3:
You got a great drop there, and excellent technique.
