Ken, this image really captures the playful nature of the subjects. I like the light on the zebra on the left, and on the face of the other zebra. The raised hooves, and open mouth, really make this photo for me. The right zebra's head loses a little of its impact due to its merges with the other zebra.
Nice interaction here Ken. Was it hazy when you took this? It seems like it could go a little darker (probably just a personal taste thing)
Mike and Steve,
Thanks very much for your comments.
Mike.
unfortunately when Zebra are trying to bite on another some form of overlap of heads is highly likely
Steve,
Now that is a good question, I am thinking the slightly hazy look cold be caused by the high level of waterlogging in the marsh, this was taken just after quite a heavy storm.
This is such a lovely action image . I am not sure if you could have got a higher perspective to avoid the sky . But , still an image , I would have wished it was mine !
Rakesh,
I would never have thought of standing up, but in this case we had a vehicle with a closed roof canopy, I am also used to the rule of not being allowed to stand up, even if this shouldonly really applies at predator sightings.
Great image Ken , I guess this needs some more USM
