Way, way in the back roads of Missouri, I found this place...............didn't get out of my car for long, you have to be wary around there.:S3: Simplify, Nik's Sunshine in combination. I left the utility poles and lines in just for the fun of it..............Hope you like it. I'm guessing that is a smoke house on the left, and maybe a small meth lab in the rear, LOL.
Jay, I love how your story starts out... The effect on the left tree is gorgeous and is one of the main reasons I love Simplify. I might tone down a little bit of the yellow tree if it were mine. The country scene and tin roof ( or is that aluminum) look great. You picked the perfect filtering for this one. small meth lab in the rear I'm still cracking up:t3
This was worth a photo. A hurried photo, certainly. When confronted by opportunities like this, I'm always wary.
Nice job with this, and I think your decision to leave in the utility lines and poles was a good one. Good perspective, also, allowing us to see the shaded sides of the buildings (whatever they are). I like your choice of filters, too.

Thanks Denise, Yes, the yellow is pulling my eye a bit, now that you mention it. I don't have a clue to the roofs material, but I do know the dogs were a'barking and I was a'movin......:S3:Quote:

Jay, even as I took in the image...appreciating the composition, the processing work, the lighting...in the back of my mind I heard a dog baying in the background and a little voice whispering, "Run, Forrest, Run!". A wonderful depiction of the deep Ozarks..you can almost hear dueling banjos in the background :t3. Great job...I'd love to see this on a larger scale, as they are some little details I'm curious about. For example..is that a bird bath or a free-standing sink to the left of the door of the main cabin? Great job!
Thanks John, On the front porch is a pedestal (cracked), a twin car seat likely for relaxation, two rolled up carpets, an un-hung swing set, a few piles of wood. The TV antenna is hung to get the best possible reception.:S3:Quote:
