I, too, like the simplicity of it, Cheryl. Great composition and color. The soft blues diminishing in tone from the bottom are very effective. You've created a beautiful image.
Hi Cheryl, very nice fract work. I love using the 'rounded' preset. I like the bright background with the touch of blue water showing at the bottom of the frame. :S3:
Soft water colored look. I like the fracting and the simple image design.:S3:
Hi Cheryl, Love the blue gradient BG and the soft frac effect you have created. :S3:
Thanks Dennis, Andrew, Denise and Steve - your comments are much appreciated:S3:
Nice watercolor feel to this, Cheryl. Boy, that is one long neck! :S3: Like the subtle colors, and blue is nice at bottom, but also wish for just a bit more of it in rest of BG.
Love the simple fract effect and the blue water and nice colors of the heron.
Cheryl, I too like the simplicity of the composition. The bg really makes this GHB standout. Excellent use of fract.
Like the look and the effect but gotta bust you for head angle..... The images that we start with for OOTB stuff almost always have to be strong on their own....
Hey Cheryl,
Effect looks very nice. I feel the HA is fine....as I do recall some debate and statements to the effect that...."this is out of the box".......if my memory serves correctly:bg3:.
Hi Chery;
I find myself torn between liking the soft, water-color pastel effect of your processing..and wanting just a BIT more detail/texture brushed back in...I think that's what I'm always torn between in my own work using some of the effects in Fractalius. It's a fine balance, and there's no definitive answer, as this particular plug-in, more than most, blurs (compresses?) the lines between the original photo and the photographers artistic vision more than most (does that make sense?...it did when it was still in my mind :e3). I like the colors...I love the background...I just find myself wanting a bit..more.
