I was waiting for my printer to complete it's session, so I thought I'd try my hand at a new image.
This image was shot on the road following our visit to Smoky Mts NP last year. I have added the original for your info. It was a very bad shot, though the windshield and across the road, as we drove down the road with poor light that day. But sometimes they can be fun too.
A number of modifications were forgotten, as I was just wasting time, but basically I used Fract, Topaz Adjust, Topaz Lens Effects and Topaz Simlified.
Enjoy!

This is the original, without touchups. I know ... it's really bad ... :e3 :w3

You certainly made the original into something else. The colors are amazing, and so is the effect in the mist. I think I'd like it even better if there were a little more room between the top and the frame. That, and if the dark blue rise in the upper right weren't there -- so the eye followed the brown that's curving down to the lower right.

Mark, Great save! A little tight on top for me too. I might evict the halo line at the top of the ridge if it were mine. Great colors and the pano crop was a good idea.:S3: I love the way the blue at the bottom almost looks crystallized.

Excellent conversion, Mark. Love the crop and the colors. Another vote for removing the halo.

Very creative and love the colors. Yes to more room at the top and losing the halo.

Thanks all for viewing and comments. Appreciate it.
Some days the juices flow and it's up to us to find a way to visualize it. This worked for me, even with the view blurps noted that can be easily fixed.
