This started out as a nest with some hungry egret chicks waiting for lunch. I took it into PB and was going to use Oil Paint and create a nice little painting. Instead I tried Kaleidoscope and this is what I came up with:S3: How would you like to have those in your nest??

Cheryl, this is very creative! I really like what you came up with. The repeating pattern of the Kaleidoscope look and the color scheme works well. Those egret eyes staring at us is special! Excellent creativity and a good one for the weekly theme.

When I saw the thumbprint version and the title, I figured you'd made something look like a tablecloth or place mat. Then I read your description. Cute. I really like the image, as well. Trying to figure out the starting point for these flipped images is a new challenge for me, and it really keeps my attention. The most amazing thing, though, is that someone is able to isolate a small element of a photo and come up with something like this. The geometrical aspects of the design and the colors are really quite incredible. They, alone, would keep me looking at it.
