St Paul's Episcopal Church

I've been struggling with a computer meltdown since returning from my NY vacation (fun, despite the snow.) Once I get the system replaced, I'll be able to post more frequently. For some mysterious reason, the netbook I'm working on now can't see the calibration strip, so it's very hard to tell whether this image is light or dark or just right :S3:

This is a three image HDR of the interior of St Paul's Episcopal Church in Troy, NY. This is a gorgeous 19th century church adorned with amazing Tiffany windows and light fixtures and intricate mosaics. It was such a treat to photograph!

I like the carefully designed image. Like the colors and patterns. It might look great as a quasi-HDR Grunge with all that detail.

Very nice, Maureen. I like the richness you achieved. For my taste, the natural look -- like this -- is often the best way to process with HDR. I'm surprised you were able to cover the range so well with just three exposures. This is going to make me go back to some of mine and redo the processing with fewer exposures.

This church is a treasure I failed to discover when I was at RPI. Thanks for sharing it with us.
