From this summer at the cottage. A small tray a ground level is kept full of sunflower seeds for the resident chipmunks while my dog, Koko, hovers over it. Koko will get within a foot or less of the chipmunks and watch them fill their cheeks and then watch them scamper off, waiting for their return. This goes on all day long and Koko never tries to catch them. I photographed this one just as it ran up a log on its way to the seed tray. I used Fractalius on background layer and reduced the opacity and further erased some of the fract effect from the log. Cropped a little off the top and the left side.
The face is adorable Andrew! I'm not sure I'm loving the way the tail came out but everything else is sweet!

Thanks Julie and Indranil, much appreciated!
Julie, I feel the same about the tail, but I think it is too out of focus for Fractalius to have much of an effect on.

Andrew, I really like this..it literally jumps off the screen at you with that almost 3-D effect. Great use of Fractalius...as mentioned by Julie, it's a shame the tail was just a bit more in focus to bring out the same depth of the Fractalius effect, but it's still a very strong image. Nicely done!

Hi Andrew, The pose, composition and use of filters are all well done. I might tone the bright backround down just a bit...
