Autumn reflection on Horseshoe Lake near Parry Sound, Ontario. Due to the number of chores required to close-up the family cottage for the winter months, I find I shoot lots of this type of imagery from the dock at the cottage in the early morning hours on the Thanksgiving weekend, before the chores begin. I cropped a little off the bottom to eliminate a small portion of the sky's reflection. The exposure was for 0.3 seconds.
Great capture of autumn reflection, Andrew. Love those rich golden/yellow colors with canvas like texture. Well seen and processed:S3:

Andrew, It has a native Indian look to me. Nice abstract, I wonder if a touch of contrast would be good.:S3: Nice job seeing this one!

Thanks Denise, Indranil and Brendan, much appreciated. I'll add a little contrast as Denise suggests.:S3:

Andrew, I really like this image...I've been playing with some similar fall reflections myself, but haven't done one yet that I like as well. I like Denise's suggestion of a bit more contrast...I really like the strong white lines (tree trunks) that set off the composition of colors in this image, and the movement of the water adds an almost canvas like texture, particularly in the middle third...nicely done!

Andrew, I love the colors and the amount of blur. It reminds me of an Indian rug:S3:
