This started as a closeup of the seed head of Salsify(?sp). I cropped, fracted a cupla layers, adjusted opacity, flattened, duped, opened dupe in fotosketcher and ran oilpainting. Then opened the fotosketcher file back in PS and added it as a layer to the original flattened fracted file and added a signature layer. Then on the fotosketcher layer, I used Liquify to twist the "stars" and finally, adjusted the opacity a little. C&C welcome.

This looks great Dan! Very creative composition and very nice touch with the procesing. Love the subtle colors and light glow to it, has a nice energy and flow to it. Reminds me kind of an artist's illustration of neuron cells firing. Very well done! :cheers: (I think your signature is cool too!!)
