Another one from Monterey Bay Pelagic tour... this a Northern Fulmar and a first time species for me. The bird landed close to the boat. For processing I used a combination of fract and pb/oil and then used masks to open up the bill and face... hope you like it.

Hi Indranil, was this on a Debbie Shearwater Pelagic? Any Albatross seen? Its neat how they can daintily prance on the water, nice effects, crop is cool..well done

Hi Paul, Thanks. This was with the Cheesemans'. We did see Black-footed Albatross in addition to plenty of Shearwaters, Aukulets and Phalaropes. This is in addition to pelagic cormorant, brown pelicans, terns and gulls.

The foot on the water looks almost as if it will be sucked into a vortex. Great effects and the bird looks great against the water. Very nice.
