Hello, DOF is this seems perfect to me. Wish the HA was back at us. Otherwise sharp, awesome background, nice details in the whites,
Gary.

Good points from Gary. Would agree about the head angle. The small feather dislodged by his preening and lying at his feet adds to the story here.
Good color combination in bird and BG. I like the negative space here.
Cheers

A better HA would have made this perfect. Great low angle and I too love the feather.

Super perspective here, and good choice of aperture, as your DOF has worked out nicely. The BG colour compliments the bird very well.

Cool subject...
Love the negative space, the feather and the exposure, sharpness and DOF are right there. Light is beautiful. Low angle works well.
The HA unfortunately really hurts this one for my eyes anyway.

Beautiful use of d-o-f. Killer bird; I think that it is a worn juvenile. Love the setting, the BKGR, and the feather to death. A bit more head turn would have been nice, 90 degrees would have been perfect, but this works quite well for me.... Go figure.

Amazing specie, Mital. Love the low angle and the clean, complementary fg and bg.
The spare feather is a nice touch.
Head turn would have been nice, but I do like this a lot. As Kaustubh said in one of my posts, this gives a nice "in their world" feel.
