I really like the wave and the color of the wave. One can feel the crash of the wave coming. I wish for a better head angle on the near bird. The crouched pose of the birds add to the anticipation of the wave crashing over the birds,

the angle is great, a very dinamic photo, you use the bkg very good giving to the ambient dinamism
Love the setting - I mean the wave, jux bird, BG colours and the low angle make for an interesting image. I would have loved the near bird to have a better HA, even the same HA of the behind bird. Did you have to get up and run?
Love the feel and POV to this image, very unique and interesting, so not as concerned with HA. Nice one, Geir!
I love the tension in this image: the birds ready to take off, the seaweed being sucked into the curl of the wave and also the colors. The birds look too contrasty to me. I did not pull this into PS but the image also looks a bit underexposed. I wish that the back bird was in focus . This is a concept that I would work on if I were you as the idea is quite nice.
Excellent comments and critiques above. The BLACKs are a bit too black and the image a bit dark and contrasty, almost muddy. I am sure that you could do better starting from scratch. Love the concept!
The color palette here is so pleasing to me, I just love that sea green. I do agree that it would be great to have that second bird in focus too. Still, a very beautiful shot.
