Skimmer low light flight

Here is another top side view of the black skimmer. This shot was taken in the last light, the BG is water in dim light which has turned grey. I was hitting the limits of 1D4 DR at ISO 1600 to keep detail in both whites and blacks, fortunately it came out nice after processing and removing noise. Hope you enjoy!

It must get boring to shoot perfect flight shot after perfect flight shot:bg3:. Can you tell me how it feels?
Your image is lovely. I really like the fanned tail and the fact that the bird is looking at you.Also ,love the light. Creates a nice mood the the picture.
How do you get their attention? Or does it just happen? I tried various sounds to try to get gannets to look my way as they flew by but was totally unsuccessful.

I really like these banked dorsal views, gives a great sense of their long wingspan. Head angle/position very engaging,

I realize this was last light, but I might brighten the image 1/4 to 1/3 of stop and see what you think. Perhaps just a selection on the bird and leave the BG darker.

I am not sure if you can get their attention, just need to watch them and wait until they bank :)

Not that expert to critique on such high qualified image.

Yes I don't shoot vertical flight.
