I like the dancing pose and the BG. As posted perhaps 1/4" to 1/2" more at bottom to give more room for the perch "dip" in bottom right. I would also clean the eye from the extra reflections to make it seem less "dirty". Not crazy about what looks like a crushed peanut (?) in the bill and wouls eliminate the flying debris below the foot. A fun image nonetheless, and good job with what looks like a potential tough exposure situation.

I agree about the crushed peanut but I don't think I can do much about that. I did add a little canvas to the bottom, yes more would have been better but I was concious of the log bottom left - I had to clone it to hide the broken edge and it was beginning to look a little stretched. - Hopefully a better one tomorrow.:5

Hi Jonathan, the light has brought out the blue of the wings nicely, and well timed to capture the raised leg. Good clean BG too. A little more room at the bottom would have been better. :w3

Sharp with a good EXP and nicely framed but with the large perch, the odd pose with the blurred far wing, the peanut, the scruffy head, and the harsh light this does not work for me. :e3

I like the raised foot and great detail but would have prefered a better HA
