You are so low that it looks like a sandy path. Cropping half off the bottom and a bit from behind the bird would improve this. Wicked bird with a good head angle for the pose and a good EXP.

Neat bird! Looks like a cross between a quail and a rail! I agree with the comp suggestion, and I wols also smooth out the longish BG lines in front of the face. Great low angle which nicely minimized the concrete ground.

What a cool bird, Mark, and you've captured a great pose. Love the super low angle. I really couldn't tell that it's concrete. Did look like a quail born to a rail to me too :)
