excellent Dan, love the low angle, HA details and nice water, Ofer's repost has given the image a lot more pop!
Lovely image, Dan. Fantastic colors on this drake and a superb setting. Ofer's repost enhances this very nicely.
Not sure about the bird placement. I'd crop about and inch and a half from the bottom and have a pano or add that much to the top - probably just a personal pref thing.

Lovely image. I, too, would take some off the right and bottom. Ofer's repost is great. Gives it a real pop and glow.

As I said the other day, I need to work on my PP skills and thanks to people here like Ofer,
I learn stuff everyday here.
The key to getting these shots is laying in the gravel on the edge of the pond.
I also need elbow pads as two evenings in a row of laying on rocks and holding the lens
just above the water on splayed elbows has left me sore!
This pond which is in the middle of the city is surrounded by trees, thus the need for flash fill,
but also just has beautiful light and reflections, a real dream place to take duck photos.

I echo Grace on this, Ofer, thank you. I particularly like your technique of, on a new Layer, using the brush tool to reverse the effect on the whites.
You do great work on your "bare minimum" of skills. That's what I strive for, as i would much rather be shooting than working on the computer. But I have a ways to go on both ends...
YouriImage is so beautiful and the repost does pop more. It's not enough anymore to just get a good shot. I'm learning how important post processing is yet it's another whole world to learn and takes alot of time. I myself am wayyy behind but you all are helping me learn.
