Semipalmated Sandpiper

I think I have the identification of this bird right. Please correct me if I am wrong. Photographed it last week at Katherine Cove on Lake Superior. A small group of 5 were hanging out on the beach. Aside from having a wolf run across the highway this was the only sign of life I saw the whole trip.

Some minor clean-up on beach performed.

Yep, a young Sanderling. Nice clean sand and I like that it is standing atop a little mound.
