Good sharpness on the bird. I like the background, but wish the horizontal line did not run through the bird's head. Do you have some frames following this? A little separation between bird and perch would be nice to see. The major thing is the exposure, with several areas of the bird burnt out. The light looks rather harsh, so it was probably tough to avoid this.
beautiful light you have got there. wish the saturation was low on bg and that intersection of water line and head could be diff. with little lower pow. May be you need a bit more space around ?
Well timed Rudi, and you have captured a different pose from the norm. Well exposed, and the two tone BG looks good. How's the recent action up there ?

It looks like he is walking on a tightwire! Love the whites. Wish the BG didn't intersect at the head and for a bit more space on the right. IQ is great,

agree with comments above. the hot areas are the main issue IMO.
well timed and good angle on the bird. this hide always delivers.
BG doesn't bother me re shoreline and waterline...Nice detail and pose...Hot spots need to be looked at in the RAW file, they may be able to be recovered.
Really nice shot. Love the taking off pose and the lighting. Agree on the hot spots but still a wonderful image. Well done.
Sharp. Sweet light. Love the 1/4 soft yellow-3/4 soft blue. In this image I actually like the head on the line between the two colors.
