Been pretty busy at home and work so havent done any photography for 2 months. going through some older files. This one is from last spring that I dont think I've posted before. Ducks have started arriving....

Very sweet with a great low angle and the perfect HA for the swimming right at you shot. You might wish to work really large and clean up some of the specular highlights on the breast. I think that they should be outlawed :S3:
Gorgeous water and BG and excellent detail! Agree with Artie re: perfect HA.
Might consider taking a bit off the top and right.
Kaustubh:
Lovely shot, soft pleasing color palette, sharp and well exposed.
I can see Mike's crop recommendation on the top.

i must say KD your love for ducks is just so intense and the reason why they allow you so close for your love and dedication towards them. hope someday i may get such in 400mm range ;) hard to believe so for my territory.

Another of your signature low angle ducks - this one's a beauty, with perfect HA and gorgeous BG. I'm not sure I totally agree with Artie about the specular highlights - sometimes they can be distracting, but here they just show (to me, at least) that the bird is wet. I might have removed the spot near the end of the bill, however. Glad to see you posting, even if it's an old one. Hope you can get back out into the field (or pond).
I love the colors in the BG and the great head turn. Nice low angle.
