Playing around with the flood filter and a lotus seedpod I came up with this image. Looking at the preview I may need to sharpen the seedpod.

That is really cool Bob! Nice work with the flood filter. I think putting the texture over the flood area would improve it, and sharpen the pod as you suggested.

I agree, Bob, very cool looking composition you created. Has an other worldly look to it. Like the flood filter effect, would be interesting to see texture on it as Judy suggested. Nice work!

You are definitely getting the hang of that flood filter. Very creative, beautiful colors. Feels like there could be a bit more canvass on the right, but that's your call. The background treatment adds interest. Sureal!:S3:

That really works. Surreal, but also whimsical. Great use of the filter.

Bob, I like this idea and I think if you bring the water level up just a slight hair on the two sides it will appear more natural like your pod is in the water instead of on top of the water. It's hard to explain what I mean so I am reposting a quicky. I used the clone tool because it helps to soften the line just a bit also. I hope you don't mind. The look is very nice w/ the texture and the flood adds a bit of whimsy as mentioned above.:S3:

Bob, this is awesome! You are getting into the realm of modern art now. :c3: Excellent realization of an idea, that's real creativity. I think Denise's repost makes the image even stronger. The new position and softness of the horizon line look good to me. Well done!
