My kind of image (combining the best of two), nice wing position on lead bird, lovely effects on the sky. Well done
Very nice, Michael. I particularly like the effect on the sky!
Hi Michael! The sky looks great and as Paul said the wing position of the lead bird is wonderful. I might try to lighten a few areas of the Pelicans just a touch if it were mine. Well done.:S3:
I like it........the sky is beautiful. I agree with Denise on some lightening of birds, maybe brighten up the eye on the top Pelican a bit. A really nice in flight image.
Hey Michael,
Great advice on lightening the birds selectively. Nice use of an added sky too!
Michael,
Greetings. I like the color contrast (blue-orange) but might try a bit more luminance contrast on the birds, perhaps sharpening? I like the comp.
Cheers,
-Michael-
Thank you for all your comments and suggestions. I believe that the Oil Painting filter works best to produce a low contrast, softer, somewhat darker image. When I tried lightening or sharpening this version, I wasn't too happy with it. At some point, I will try a different filter treatment to see if there is something that works better.
Hi Michael, nice addition of the sky and I too like the wing positions of the lead bird.
Michael, I'm late to the party but I like this image..great job combining the two images, and I love the head position of the pelican on the left. My only suggestion would be to echo the others here in attempting to lighten selective areas of the two pelicans a bit...other than that, it's a really nice capture.
