I couldn't think of a better way to process this image. It has a perfect feel to me. At first I thought I might like to see the forward mast on the boat at the right, but including that would have cut off much of the building on the left, which kind of anchors the left edge of the scene. Just my rambling thoughts. :bg3: Great Image Hazel
Wonderful idea on how you handled the processing. Really like the subtle colors. Nice work, Hazel.
Hazel, very different. I like it a lot. If it were mine, I might do a bit less sky, to promote that beautiful town, dock and boat scene. Still lovely as is...............well done.
Hey Hazel,
I have similar feeling as Jay on the sky.....just minimizing it by cropping out the brightest area .......focuses more attention on the row of boats and the ctiyscape. Very nice effects and the small tweak will make this shine for me!
Thanks for the comments/compliments. Won't repost here, but did do that small crop suggested and it makes a world of difference.
Hazel, I love the sketch look and the comp on this one. Your choice of filtering was perfect for this scene! Lovely!!:S3:
Wonderful effect, Hazel. Agree with others on your choice of filter and processing. Nicely done.
A lovely image Hazel. I like the filtering done.
Hi Hazel, I really appreciate the look and feel you achieved with this one. It makes me think of distant ports in far away places and has a timeless look. I like the crop from the top - trying it with my web browser and it works really well. Nice job!
Very nice image and application, Hazel.
Very interesting applications. I've tried the torn paper in the past, without satisfactory luck. Will have to try again ... :w3
Hazel, I really like the graphic effect you've gotten. Very nicely done:S3:
