Hi Carol,
Thanks for your kind comments. It was lots of fun having you around. I like your take on the kitchen along with all the detail you captured in the china. The window reflected in the glass pane is also very nice. It was a tough exposure in there as well as a tight area and you handled it very well. Nice job!
Very interesting image. Nice HDR and post processing. I'm in between about the reflection. I find it very interesting and I think it draws the viewer in. But it also draws my eye away from the rest of this beautiful image. Thus the conflict. Don't know what I might do to fix it.
Carole, Looks like you handled the mix lighting well. The shadow of the faucet is neat. I think if this were mine I would crop some off the top to eliminate the top shelf on the right. nicely done:S3:
That area was very difficult to shoot. I like what you did with it. The color of the wood is perfect.
Carol.....Wonderful HDR work! Love the composition,,,,I do agree that some off the top might be called for but wonderful as is :5
Hey Carole,
I didn't get any from that area because I couldn't get far back enough! You were a great student and your processing on this is fantastic! I like that you focused on the main parts and the view through the cupboard is really great! This one works for me all around.
Looks like I will be getting another Fonhill workshop so hope yo ucan join me on that one as well! Stay tuned!
Lovely shot, Carole. Processing worked wonders with the wood texture and china. I share Joe's uncertainty about the reflection. It's a super image, but I think I would also like it if the reflection weren't there (not that you had much choice from your vantage point.)
Carole,
Greetings. I really like the color - the wood, the sink, the reflection, the window frame, the dishes... captivating. Good show!
Cheers,
-Michael-
Hi Carole, What makes this image for me is the detail, processing and the beautiful colors. The reflection does pull the eye but it certainly doesn't radically effect the image in a negative sense. Good job! Another place I hope to get to...
Hi Carole, nicely processed! Love the details and colors here!
Excellent work and processing, Carole. Love the colors and the reflection on the glass. But it is the faucet and the reflection that really takes it over the top.
