Hi All
My name is Mike Baranski and I am a Wildlife Biologist for the state of Florida. Most of my work is done on endangered species including the last four years in which I have been monitoring and managing a population of Red-cockaded Woodpeckers. I have an extreme passion for Avian Ecology and have worked all around the country on research projects including Golden-cheeked Warblers in TX, Northern Goshawks in MI, breeding songbirds in LA, and more. I got into photography about 7 years ago and use it to keep a photographic journal of the birds I encounter in the field as well as other widlife. I am self taught and unfortunately it shows. I would love some critique on how I can improve my images and utilize my equipment to the best of its ability. I am happy to be a part of this website and look forward to speaking with some of you about photography techniques.
Mike

Welcome Mike!
One of my clients, Brady Beck, does the same thing for the state of South Carolina.
Cool job.
When your not working on improving your photography stop by our "Avian: All About Birds" forum.
