Good angle, and sharp. The subtle water drop is a nice touch. Image seems a tad bright, especially for first light...lowering the midtones to about 0.75 in PS "Levels" does wonders for this image IMO. I'd try to soften the pale streak running behind the head. Well done!
Here it is with the mids pulled down just a tad with a curve layer
Nice shot! Excellent sharpness and detail. Here is a repost with some selective cooling filter applied. I find the early morning light to be a bit too warm.
My favorite is the second (pane #3) as I for one love the warm early light. Ofer's repost has nice colours (especially the water), but that early daylight feeling is gone.
Hey Don,
Your repost did a great job on the bird.....I like what ofers did to the water.....although like Daniel....pane #3 is a keeper!
Love the second post, pane 3...Colors and depth look much better. Nice one Don
excellent pose and low angle. I also prefer the 2nd repost. great!
Amazing light and detail captured. Ditto on the low angle, which adds a lot. Superbly done!:S3:
Great shooting angle and exposure with good light. Like the colours and comp :S3:
Thanks everyone for your comments, Ofer I like your repost but a remember thinking to myself when i made the image that I really do not need another Willet image but this warm light is just to good to pass up:bg3: i am a sucker for warm light.
