Both wings got clipped on this one but I decided to try to rescue it by cutting them more abruptly and centering the bird horizontally and vertically to emphasize the symmetry. The resulting crop is about 65% of the original capture. Does it work for you?
Looking forward to your comments and critiques!

I think it works fine.
Exposure is perfect and along with a great pose, sharpnesss and that red eye, I'd be rather happy with the "rescue" :)

I love it for the reason that it allow me to linger and study those fine details in the wing feathers. Beautiful work, Mike. Is it an optical illusion or could it use a bit of CCW?

Mike, loved the tight crop, whites, blacks and HA. Awesome shot....you nailed the exposure.
Since it is already tight, I might consider a small crop( above your watermark) from bottom for better balance.
