I was working on this during split toned week:eek: I used a split tone effect in LR and Nik Cross Balance (slight) to change the colors and then I levelled the horizon - I just read Digital Basics again - the first time I ready it I didn't know enough to utilize it but this time I understood it - and used Artie's levelling technique.:S3:
I'm not sure this is worth keeping but I keep going back to it so thought I'd share.

Cheryl, Beautifully done. If it were mine I might tone down the brightest whites a little. I really like the way you added some drama with the comp. Nice work with the toning.:S3:

I agree, nicely done. I also like the crop you've used. At first I thought I might loke to see a touch off the botoom, but that would have put your horizon too close to center, and the expanse of beach also is a more natural view if these guys.

Like the perspective and processing on this, Cheryl. Denise makes a good suggestion about toning down the bright whites. Nice capture! :S3:

I think it's worth keeping. I also agree that a touch off the whites would be nice but I really also like it as is. The toning is very special - you did a great job interpreting the scene, Cheryl.
