Beautiful subject on a fantastic BG. Perch is perfect as well. Might take a bit off the right side as I find a bit too much negative space.

Hi Leo,
A lovely image, and I fully agree with Joe's comments.

Sweet shot. Beautiful detail, perch and BG. Ditto Joe's comment about the negative space, but only a tiny bit.

Nice capture and comp, Leo. Cute bird, like pose, diagonal perch with vegitation and the soft neutral BG really provides good contrast. Agree about taking a bit off rt.

What a cute bird! Nice exposure and interesting perch.
I agree about the space on the right.
Did you use a flash?

No flash used Noelle. Just morning sunlight. The background is a distant tree covered hillside.

Excellent photo and very nice light.
I too, would move the bird over to the right, just a tad.
I bit more DOF would have the tail in a little more focus and would have been a plus, but that is nitpicking.
Well done.

The contrast and background color are stunning. If this were mine, I would
crop from the bottom of the image slightly to eliminate the greenery above the
branch at right with the bird better presented in the frame perhaps as well.
