From my last outing at a local beach. Brought to the chick by the parent. The chicks are still learning how to find there own.

Nice, Joe.
I like it as is, but might suggest upping the contrast a bit. I also would crop out some of the lower oof area, and add more canvas to the left of and above the bird if possible.
Norm
The low angle works well, and I agree with Norm that less space right, and more space left will work better. Taking off the bottom will work too. Good to see the food item in the beak.
What a cutie pie. Love to see it with food. I like the vertical but would take some off bottom and add to left and top if you have it. Not sure if it's my eyes, but I am not seeing too much detais in the head. Looks as though it may be a large crop.
nice view of the chick, details look soft to me.
Good one, Joe. Sure shows how these little ones transition from helpless chicks to being able to find food on their own. I know you like your subjects high in the frame, but I personally feel like the bottom of this frame doesn't add much overall. I'm also thinking that the color temp might be a little warm.
Hi Joe,
Bird appears OOF and colors unnaturally warm. Not loving this one!:w3Is this a big crop?
