Cattle Egret

Started with PB Oil, then did a partial mask of the bird for reduced effect. Ran the BG through tonal contrast in two layers to soften the PB effect.

Jay, wonderful processing on this one! My only nit pick is that his raised foot looks a little bit like its melting...maybe cut the filter there a bit? Love the depth of colors and the flow of the feathers...really lovely!

Thanks everyone. Good feedback. Honestly, I missed noticing the melting foot. I'm trying to like it, otherwise I would have to recreate the entire effect....and not sure I could do that twice.:S3::S3: I'll chew on it, before committing.
